Google hasn’t told us anything about KitKat yet, but we may already know which devices are slated for the update. According to Samsung news blog Sam Mobile, which has a mixed track record when it comes to making Samsung product predictions, KitKat will roll out to multiple Galaxy handsets.
Sam Mobile claims to have obtained an internal document from a “trusted insider” that reveals the launch schedule for Samsung’s Knox security software. The reportedly leaked schedule says that the Galaxy Mega and Galaxy 4 Mini will support Knox when Android 4.4 rolls out, hinting that handsets other than Samsung’s flagships will get the chocolate-flavored update. The document doesn’t reveal when KitKat will launch or how it will affect its more prominent smartphones, since the Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2 and Note 3 already support Knox with Android 4.3

Google’s candy-themed OS is expected to debut this month, although the search engine giant hasn’t revealed what the update will entail. Allegedly leaked screenshots, however, hint that it will bring some significant changes including mobile payment integration, printing, wireless display support and new camera features.
